Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 amβ4 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Ithaca is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Ithaca is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

If I could give 0 stars I would they canβt even Book an appointment with the office on the second floor in the same building for a serious issue not to mention When I went in for my appointment that they scheduled wrong, asked for my insurance card/what insurance I have before letting me know if they could get me in that day or not Very unprofessional not to mention the lady at the front desk on the second floor is very rude

Came here as a first-time patient today, and was left disappointed and frustrated. The front desk did not greet me when looking to check in and avoided eye-contact, and had the same experience with the check out desk. I also completed about 30 minutes worth of paperwork online the day before my appointment and was told to complete this lengthy paperwork again while waiting. While the nurse and Dr. B were kind and professional, after the procedure I was left waiting in the patient room for 35 minutes without being told or guided to check out and I eventually left. I also was told to go to other facilities for work I must get done that could oddly not be done here (one being an x-ray, which even urgent cares have these), especially within the two hour duration of time I spent here. For the two hours I did spend here, it feels like nothing was accomplished as my reasons for coming in were not addressed. Disappointing experience.

They have become negligent and unresponsive. I was a well-cared for patient, who trusted this practice, for over 20 years. They had helped me through s number of serious health issues with compassion and professional expertise. Not anymore! Since the practice was taken over and a number of doctors & nurses have retired, the quality of care has been abysmal. For example, my new doctor barely looked up from the computer during my first physical with him, and a second time, while I explained my concerns about a significant health concern, I had to stop talking and wait three or four seconds for him to notice and actually look at me to see what I was pointing to. I have talked to many other patients who have had similar experiences. In addition, we patients are routinely being told that no appointments are available for two to three months, when calling with flu-like symptoms, dizziness, or similar issues, and we are consistently told instead that we should "go to the ER if we need care." Rather than patient phone calls being returned in kind, the practice texts us portal messages, usually a week or two later, with vague or trite responses. Those front office staff who have rema

I donβt recommend becoming a new patient here. I switched after moving to the area from Rochester. I have only visited 1 time and I honestly donβt want to go back. The doctor was nice but the front desk staff has terrible manners and are rude. Although the doctor was nice, she did say she would call me to follow up and I never heard back. On another occasion I called with an urgent question about medication and they told me I had to pay for an appointment to just to ask my question. Absolutely ridiculous. I do like the patient portal though and the staff that responded on the portal was helpful and nice. I think that I will be looking for a new provider, which is unfortunate because I liked the doctor. One last note, I visited their state st location, it was ok but it could use a little TLC.

I have Dr. Berlin and have also seen a few other Dr.'s and many staff members during my time as a patient. The staff has ALWAYS been very friendly and understanding. The Dr.'s and staff have worked together to accommodate me despite my mental health challenges. The doctors are very knowledgeable and great bedside manner. Although I sometimes have my stubbornness that disagrees with them, they always respect my opinion and work with me to determine whats best given my stance on matters.
